SIRCTT Educational and Networking Program

In partnership with leaders from across Mass General Brigham, the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology is excited to announce the Sex/gender Informed Research Collaborative Think Tank (SIRCTT) Educational and Networking Program. Junior and mid-career investigators who are considering a career in women’s health and/or sex/gender-informed research or are currently working in the field are invited to participate in this program.

Our goal is to provide educational resources, help establishing trans- institutional collaborations, and facilitate connecting with MGB leaders in this field. To join this program, you may be nominated by a SIRCTT representative and/or faculty or propose your own candidacy. The program includes 4 meetings over 12-16 months: each meeting will include a keynote lecture, speed mentoring, and networking dinner. To maximize inter-disciplinary collaborations, investigators will have the chance to meet with peers working in their same field of research (e.g., cardiovascular) and across different fields (e.g., immunology, brain health). Investigators joining this program will be part of an MGB research matrix to facilitate collaborative exchanges and share their work via the SIRCTT newsletter. Time commitment: 4-5 hours/yearly.

The Request for Nominations is anticipated to go live in early November, due in late January for a program that starts in the spring. To be notified when the RFN is live, please complete the interest form below.
