Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator:

Summary:
The Senior Research Assistant will support both the Women’s Hormones and Aging Research Program (WHARP) in the Department of Psychiatry and a variety of research initiatives in the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology (CCWH), including support of the Laboratory of Sex/Gender-Informed Translational Neuroscience. WHARP is a clinical and translational research program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). This program conducts a series of studies focused on the hormonal and neural basis of depression, sleep disturbance, hot flashes, and other menopausal symptoms, and metabolism. CCWH is a hospital-wide Center focused on advancing the health of women through research and training (website: https://connorscenter.bwh.harvard.edu/). Dr. Hadine Joffe, MD MSc, serves as both Director of WHARP and Executive Director of CCWH. Dr. Primavera Spagnolo, MD PhD, is the PI of the Laboratory of Sex/Gender-Informed Translational Neuroscience (https://spagnololab.bwh.harvard.edu/).

The Sr. RA will be an instrumental part of these two teams, leading the day-to-day implementation of multiple research protocols, managing regulatory requirements, assisting with financial tasks, writing SOPs, collecting and managing data, and assisting with data analyses, abstract and poster preparation, and manuscript submissions. This position will work closely with the rest of the WHARP and CCWH staff, which includes other Research Assistants, study clinicians and investigators, and Project Managers.
