5/9/25: The Annual Women’s Health Luncheon
On May 9th, 2025, Brigham and Women’s Hospital hosted the Annual Women’s Health Luncheon. The event was in person and nearly 700 guests gathered to spotlight cancer care for women and raised more than $1.4 million to support women’s health research across the Brigham and Mass General Brigham.

This year’s program featured a keynote conversation between Arianna Huffington—founder and CEO of Thrive Global, founder of The Huffington Post, and bestselling author—and WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes, focusing on how consistent daily habits and artificial intelligence can empower women to live healthier lives. As Huffington shared, “My passion is to elevate behaviors essential for health and to defeat chronic diseases. It’s time to take more agency of our health, and AI can help us.”

Two Mass General Brigham experts, Elizabeth Ginsburg, MD, and Florian Fintelmann, MD, also presented TEDMED-style presentations about women’s health, including fertility preservation advances for cancer patients and the use of AI to detect lung cancer in women earlier and more accurately.

The luncheon is a marquee fundraising event held every May to celebrate the ongoing work to protect and promote women’s health through a better understanding of the sex differences in medicine. Proceeds benefit the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health, the Division of Women’s Health, and our mission to improve women’s health here and around the world.
